Oh lovely photo for SWF. I like the christmas decoration on the tree. The christmas mood is here already.
!!!*GASP*!!!
...It reminds me a little of a Maypole, the pattern of the lights up the trunk echo the ribbons that the dancers weave as they circle the pole. It's a Maypole done Vegas style, and I can't tell you how impressive I find that :D
Happy Holidays skywatcher!
Wow - That's absolutely gorgeous. I'll never again say that Christmas needs snow!!
Beautiful skywatch picture!
I remember going from Idaho to Arizona during a Christmas season. Talk about weather contrast! We laughed, then, at palms and cactus lit up with colored lights. But soon realized it was still Christmas and a welcome change from the icebox. What did you use to get the lights up so high?
Thanks for your comments.
When I first moved here about 15 years ago, it took awhile to get used to Christmas without snow but I have never missed the cold weather. I can't take credit for the lights though- my 21 yr old son puts them up each year. He does palm tree trimming as a side job so he thinks nothing of putting on his gear and scaling the tree to put up lights. I rarely have Christmas lights anywhere else on my property- the palm tree is enough.
That's really pretty!
Great Skywatch! Ha[[y Holidays!
