A sunset walk in April

I took a little walk through my neighborhood the other day, just as the sun was setting. It seems to me that the sunsets here are always beautiful but in the warmer months they are downright amazing. The sky was blue and pink and orange and purple and it appeared that all of the colors of the day were being sucked down off the edge of the earth.

Take a tour of the skies around the world by visiting SkyWatch Friday and joining in the fun.

Love cactus, here in MI we obviously don't have any unless we buy them at Home Depot and put them on the windowsill, great shots!

I remember the skies from when we lived in CA - spectacularly awesome!

I love coming over here and seeing the cactus - you shoot them beautifully.

I love the cactus pictures - the Sonoran Desert is so beautiful. I was in Tuscon in May last year with my friend who also lives in AZ - a small community outside Scottsdale. We had a wonderful visit in your town. We stayed right on the edge of the campus.

That IS an amazing sunset. Such brilliant colors at the horizon, and such a dark, heavy cloud above. Excellent!

These beautiful plants seem to be waving to the sky.

Oh, excellent photos, how beautiful the desert is. Your photos show it so beautifully and those cacti are a wonderful addition.

The cactus and palm tree silhouettes look beautiful against the colors of the sunset. My favorite is the last one.

What beautiful pictures! The cacti make such dramatic shapes in silhouette.

This is some nice set of sunset photos. And wow to the cactus, I cannot believe how big they can be, compare what I have inside my home, lol. Anna :)
