Just when I thought there was nothing happening in my winter garden...

I discover the second bud on the little Ferocactus is getting ready to open.

And my little "String of Pearls" (Senecio rowleyanus) succulent is getting ready to bloom!

Spring can't be far off...looking back in my blog I can see I had Hyacinth coming up in late January of 2009...so only 4 weeks left of Winter!

I can't believe it's really winter unless there is snow...that made me laugh that you only have 4 more weeks of winter! I want to live in AZ when I grow up too! Love the little string of pearl cactus. I didn't even know there was such a thing.

I am fascinated by cacti. The flowers are amazingly beautiful and the plants like sculptures. I grow a few, some for 30 years.
