Watching the birds and tending my patch of the Sonoran Desert
A lovely series of beautiful blooms.
Nice shots!!! I am so jealous of your ice plants there!!!!!
for plants that just sit there looking like a lump for the great majority of time, they certainly can surprise you, can't they? Wonderful pics.
Cacti flowers look so ethereal, the plants are very special. I regard them as sculptures. Mother of Millions is an apt name for this plant. As it is so prolific it is sort of ordinary, but I think it is actually a very nice looking plant, interesting and the flowers, massed together are lovely. Happy May days.
I love Mother of Thousands, been a couple of years since I've grown it. Had to get rid of mine because I didn't have room for all those kids! What's that saying about not breeding them if you can't feed them? Thanks for sharing yours and bringing back memories.
Your place is magical! I think we had too much rain this past winter--not any of my cactus have bloomed!!Check out my blog-- the cuttings you sent me are looking good! Any tips??????
