Shave and a haircut...Miss P!

I recently purchased a dog clipper, after paying $50 a pop, to get sweet Miss P shaved every 5 months or so.  My son is pretty handy with things like that, and I figured it would eventually pay for itself.  Well here are the first results...he did a fairly good job till the end when she was just impossibly wiggly.  One side of  her neck and her feet remain long.

So I took to her with a scissors the other day and trimmed up the neck anyway. She still has Hobbit feet.

And just a few pictures of Miss Moo Dog...she is always ready with a smile!

And sweet Lucy Roo, who is normally pretty camera shy, posed for  just one picture.

Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July! If you have dogs please remember fireworks can scare them. Keep them inside and occupied with a treat and your attention.

Hello sweet doggies! I like the hobbit feet!!! Leave them!!! LOL! They are so cute looking! I am planning to calm Doozey with some kind of Doggie Downers (OTC) and stay with her and snuggle for the night of the 4th! Have a fun holiday!!!

Cute dogs! I love the second one the best. What a personality. Thank goodness I have a Boston terrier and she doesn't need trimming. Oh except her nails (which she goes nuts when they do). She sounds like a piglet! LOL

Miss Moo Dog looks very much like our sweet American Bulldog Maryann. I used to be a dog groomer. Put a leash on her and cinch it up tight, you can also put a leash around her belly and tie her up with that also. It forces them to stand and not give you too much fuss. It doesn't hurt them but gives you more control. Maybe in time she will ease into it a bit more.

Oh my- thank you!! The idea of one around her belly is just what I need I think. I had one around the neck but it wasn't enough. Great idea!
