Obsessed with October

October has brought wonderful weather- warm sunny days and cool nights. The garden rejoices!

Blue Plumbago- love love love this color!

I "finally" got a Moon Flower bloom! These remind me of Brug blooms- similar scent too!

A couple shots of the area under the Olive tree. This shows the sweet potato vines.

I spent much of my weekend planting bulbs in this bed...about 100 of them...Can't wait till Spring!

Lots of fun in the little veggie patch...peppers and more peppers.

Watermelon...Yum!

Honey Dew too!

This one fell and broke so the birds got a piece too.

Purple peppers!

Queen Wreaths vine...love this so much I planted a second one this year.

Here's to October..may Winter never come.

I think your blue plumeria is a plumbago. It's a great little plant, and they love to talk about it on Central Texas Gardener.

I've got some plumbago too. It's doing great with benign neglect only because it's close to the air conditioner's drain hose. Maybe that's where I should plant my veggies next year. Yours look fantastic!

My moonflower is blooming like crazy too! There were four open flowers yesterday afternoon, and the gnats were really drawn to them... even more than they were to my nearby carrion flower!

Your colorful flowers and the veggies are just wonderful! I wondered what the bulbs are. I started lachenalia and oxalis and some other South African bulbs.
