Lazy Lizard in the sun

I saw this little guy the other day on the big Olive tree right outside my front door. He was not in any hurry, just moseying his way up the tree, enjoying the sunshine, on a blue-skied Arizona afternoon. Click on the picture for a better look.

Your lizard is very cute!! The photo is so clear when you enlarge it!! Great shot. I always enjoy your blog as the desert has always been facinating to me. I love cactus and your yard sounds facinating ( I read your profile). The only place I can grow cactus is in the house and they don't do very well there!!! I love to garden also and the nice thing about your cactii is you don't need to water much!!! Have a great day.

Nice shot. I like the way you took it looking through the tree.
Have a wonderful weekend.

We used to drive truck and spent many hours crossing and recrossing the desert...I never got to see it in bloom. You have such a unique place for photos. I love it out there.

I love lizards! I have quite a few, but would have more if it wasn't for that neighbor cat. They love my garden, and some of them have grown quite large. Generally, I can't deal with other types of reptiles, but lizards keep me entertained with their dispute resolution, mating rituals and defending of their little territories.
