The clouds came over the mountain....

I monitor the possiblity of rain by looking to the North in the afternoons during monsoon season. The clouds gather over the Catalina mountains most afternoons and then move in over the town to hopefully bring some rain. We've had an awfully dry season so far this year but I keep hoping for a downpour!

Good-bye July 2009 and Happy SkyWatch Friday! To see the skies around the world please visit SkyWatch Friday!

Holy Smokes! Tucson. I loved that place. And I worked downtown at Levy's in those days. Things have changed so much I hear that Mt. Lemon is full of houses now. We used to pan for gold in some of the box canyons there. Your photos are impressive of this place. I still have some friends there. I must say that I admire your photography skills.

Now, you and your friends can help me Make History. I am trying to see if it is possible to get 10,000 visitors in a short period of time on my new blog, Pick a Peck of Pixels. If you go there, please either become a Follower or leave a comment. You can come back each day to see and read something new. Your visit will count and help me Make History. Pick a Peck of Pixels

I've never thought about what clouds look like in a desert.
