The hairy ones
Terri's cool picture of the "old man" cactus last week inspired me to show the hairy cactus that live in my yard. I'm not sure of the IDs on these but I love them all!
I'm not sure about the names, but the first one looks like it may have come in contact with one of those static globes at the science museum...the others look like the tufts I tossed into the wind when brushing my white cat outside has drifted all the way to your garden - it looks almost the same on the bushes up here.
the top one looks a lot like an Espostoa melanostele. The species may be wrong, but it's definitely an Espostoa of some sort. The second one is an Oreocereus celcianus.

When you have cacti in your yard you must live in a wonderful climate!
Lovely pictures!
HCM!
Hairy is good. HCM
The first hairy cactus looks so soft and the tippy flower pots in the background of the second one look really neat.

I have no idea what the third one is...
Hey... In the background of the 2nd pic I see a tumbling pot tower... cool! What you gonna plant in it?
Very Hairy indeed!
Interesting plants you have there. Does the "hair" ever grow out of bounds and obscure the rest of the plant?
