Desert Paradise at dusk and dawn

It has been a long busy week at work and I've had little time for blogs and picture taking. However at dusk last night I noticed the Desert Paradise was just unfolding some of its blooms. Taken with a flash the picture has a rather eerie look to it. And the second is early this morning. To join in and see other sky pictures from around the world please visit SkyWatch Friday.

What a lovely plant, and how different the lighting looks on the two photos! I'll be interested to see it in fully opened bloom.

This is a fascinating plant you have in your garden. It must look wonderful in full bloom.
