I've been incredibly busy this last week and most time in front of a computer has been to work. However the sunrise drew me outside early this morning to celebrate a new morning, a new day and new month. Happy September!

Love the full-headed palm trees. Here in Phoenix, folks are always butchering the palms down to three or four fronds. They look ridiculous.
But it does what they want, it removes habitat for the birds to nest. Birds, apparently, are dirty and nasty and the world would be better without them.
Sigh.
