More wild cactus blooms

It is a wonder I get any work done these days, with the desert in bloom, calling to me.  I indulged yesterday and took a little walk to check out the Cholla and Prickly Pear cactus.  Both are in bloom now, and I counted 3 different color Cholla flowers that had all opened up since my last visit.  All the prickly pears are now in full bloom.  I honestly can't decide which is my favorite. Can you?

I love them all too. What a year we've had for blooming desert plants!

They are all so beautiful and making me lonesome for the desert.

Oh gosh...it is terrible to try and choose a favorite! If I worked out there (out west) I would not be ABLE to work...I would just wander the deserts till I dropped (kinda like shop till you drop)!!! LOLOL!

It's always impossible to choose just one favorite. Beautiful shots.

Those are some beauties! For years I've been telling myself to plant some prickly pears but I've never gotten around to it. The closest I get is visiting a local conservatory to see theirs blooming.
