More wild wanderings

I can get lost wandering in the desert this time of year.  Here are some pictures from a recent wander...
Cholla flowers
I love this deep pink cholla flower.
Same Cholla below, only the whole plant this time.

Cholla forest in the background..this type isn't blooming yet....see the little Saguaro growing by the Ocotillo in the foreground?

More views...the desert is so amazing!

Where do you wander?

Wow the flowers of that Cholla are gorgeous, nice to get a glimpse of some of the beauty of the desert. we don't have much desert here in Ireland.

Wow, that landscape is so different from those I've seen around here. It's got a beauty all its own.

I forgot to mention that I've seen those night blooming flowers on other blogs. They are cool, even your finished one.

What kind of camera do you use to take pics? I need to get a better one that takes clearer and sharper photos:)

I am currently using a Sony Cybershot. I really like it! I have gone through several Exilm cameras and they seemed to die within a year.
