A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
I am of course waiting on Spring and a "time to plant" Here are some signs that it is nearly here.
Lots of Hyacinth coming up
The Hibiscus never really even died back this winter. Bud production just slowed way down. Here is one that has been sitting around the last month or so, finally ready to open.
Passion flower buds in the early morning sunlight.
Sweet Peas coming up in a cement tube- not sure how this will work but it will be fun finding out.
And yup- that is a little bean tree!
My little "red-haired Irishman" cactus has little buds starting.
And to keep my gardening impulses at bay I added this little guy to my collection. I'm always a sucker for a cactus with a flower starting.
Happy February and heres to an early Spring!

doesn't look like we will have a early spring in Texas...love seeing your cactus...
My husband installed a chain link fence across one third of our back yard and I have sunflowers and sweet peas growing up it. The sweet peas are actually intertwining among the sunflowers! Really neat to see. I planted both of them in early December.
did you know that your intro is a bible verse? :)
Ecclesiastes 3:2
