It has been so long since I joined in with Cactus Monday. Winter had slowed my gardening down and made me a lazy blogger. Now that Spring is here and my cactus are starting to bloom I have new motivation to post. My Golden Barrel has a flower bud coming up...I think this is the first time this barrel has bloomed so I am excited to see the color.
New growth on the prickly pear.
I love the new little pads- they are so green and the prickles are soft not prickly.
My Canna in the morning light.
The Baja Fairy Duster is blooming like crazy now that warmer weather is here.
A yellow Jessamine vine (I think)
Japanese Wisteria (Texas Purple)
A brand new one- Echinocereus reichenbachii or "Lace Cactus"
A recently purchased cactus whose first bud is finally opening.
Happy Cactus Monday! To see other wonderful Cactus themed posts please visit "Teri's Painted Daisies"

Nice to see you back with your Cactus Monday posts! Should be fun now in the spring with new blooms, etc. My mammillaria is not blooming yet, like your new one is! I love those little circlettes of pink flowers!
I am going over to check out your pie blog from here! I have a wonderful Southern Cakes blog in my bloglist if you ever want to check it out. He hasn't posted in a while, but what he has there so far is wonderful. My problem is, I eat what I bake!!! LOLOL!
Happy Spring, Dee!

Can't wait to see the flower on the Golden Barrel! I've had them for years at this property and previous ones, and not one bloom. Hope it's pretty.
