Blooming Tuesday Blue Hibiscus (Alyogyne huegelii)

It seems like forever since I joined in Bloomin' Tuesday and I've missed that wonderful bunch of garden bloggers.  My Blue Hibiscus is about two years old now and this Spring it is putting on quite a show in my bird feeder area.  The plant is covered with the papery blooms that glow in the early morning sun.

Happy Bloomin' Tuesday!  To see what is blooming in other gardens please visit Ms "Green Thumb" Jean's.

Hi!
Beautiful blooms! They look almost like a petunia. The sun shining on them is beautiful. Have a great day!

Your blooms are totally amazing! I did some research and can grow zone 5 hibiscus here. I am a zone 4 but have a few micro climates. Thanks for sharing this, I wouldn't have looked for this plant for my yard without your lovely pix.

Hi Dee
I love your Blue Hibiscus. I have one too but I didn't know it was in the Hibiscus family. I have it cut like a little tree!
It has been a long time since we visited each other's blog on Blooming Tuesday! Hope to see you more often now!
Hugs, Ann
