Our Monsoon season has pretty much fizzled out this year. We had one week of rainy days, and even those didn't live up to expectations. I water water water, but do little else outside, and look forward to cooler temps and more garden time. The best is just ahead! The cactus blooms are slowing a bit but there is still something blooming almost every day. Here are some cactus blooms from the last week or so.
And sometimes, after the flowers come fruit. I tasted these and they are pretty tangy little fruits. The birds usually get them before I can snap a picture.

How neat to have all those cactus blooms! They are just so soft and unusual, aren't they? Soft flowers on such seemingly hard cactuses! Love the contrast. Happy Cactus Monday!
i am in heaven just seeing these lovely blooms. senita is in a fairly big pot, but i am going to take your advice and try repotting her- but hope i don't lose her- she is so special to me now..thanks for advice.
It's almost here......the cooler temps are just around the corner:)

Beautiful pictures.. your cactus blooms are such a delight!!!!HCM!!
What gorgeous blooms on your cactus. If I lived where I didn't have to bring in cactus I would have a whole lot more of them. These blooms say it all. Those little fruits are quite pretty too. I wonder if you could make jelly out of them?? Happy CM.
beautiful blooms girl! Sorry I am late. HCM!
someday I'm going to grow up and have a cactus garden just like yours! I love all your blooms.
