This little gal was wandering across an old rug that I have put down over the ground in the gardening area I have turned my old carport into. The pink color really amazed me- I don't think I've ever seen a pink caterpillar before! It actually seems to match the pink shade of the rug doesn't it?
I helped the little gal (must be a girl- pink and all) back to a safer area and let her go on her way.

I've never seen anything like that before. I wonder what it is. I can't remember even hearing of such a thing when studying these in DLS. It is certainly more attractive than some of the white grubby ones or those green horny things. If you ever find out, please let me know!

Wow I've never seen a pink caterpillar before. I wonder if it camouflaged itself against the carpet somehow. I don't think they have the ability to do that but you never know.
If it's a new species I think you should name it the Prom Queen Caterpillar.
She's pretty in a grubby sort of way but I wonder what kind of monster will it turn into?
