As I wandered the garden this morning I noticed the bees buzzing around the Aloe flowers. These flowers are really mostly spent, but don't tell the bees that. It was interesting watching them climb right into the little tubes and then back out bee-hind first! You must click the pictures to really get the detail.

I love honey bees! Their decline should be a wake up call to us.....
Lovely photos.

Bee-hind first! Brilliant!
Good to see the bees - there have been quite a lot out here today too.
I love to find bees also...I can sit and watch them for quite a long time.
Cute post! I never get tired of watching bees in the garden. Bees know a good thing when they see it.
Nice photos. I've been studying bees too because I installed a hive last Friday.
looks like they are busy bees, pretty floweres on the cactus
Looks like the flowers are dancing in the wind! Just absolutely beautiful.
